Uranus was discovered in 1781 using a 16cm
reflecting telescope. Although still classed
a gasouse giant Uranus is much smaller than
SATURN and JUPITER. While being observed
passing in front of a star it was found to
have nine distinct thin rings. Uranus is
actually tilted by 98░ which means that it
orbits the sun virtualy on its side.
